The first location where Skydivemex assembled the first skydiving drop zone was in Puerto Vallarta, back in 2012, with the collaboration of world renowned skydiving experts and professionals. A combined 40 years of experience in the sport led to one single dream, the dream of delivering an unforgettable adventure experience to each customer through an exceptional and customized service.

Since then, we have been skydiving in Tulum, Holbox, Cozumel, Bacalar, Puerto and Nuevo Vallarta, Punta Mita, Bucerias, San Blas, Yelapa, Sayulita, Chamela and a few more mesmerizing locations. SkydiveMex is growing more and more each year that goes by and we are currently skydiving simultaneously in both Playa del Carmen and Cozumel. Surrounded by stunning Caribbean waters and shades of turquoise.

Today, SkydiveMex is an iconic dropzone, thanks to some of the most experienced instructors in the world who we daily and proudly work with, thanks to their friendliness and devoted passion for the sport. Also, and undoubtedly, thanks to the epic skydiving events we organize for experienced jumpers, known as the “Pachanga” and the ”Pachangon”.

Our main goal remains intact which is to provide you with a unique experience with genuine emotions.

Here’s what you need to know before heading over

KINDLY NOTE THAT THIS IS WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU IN ORDER TO JUMP WITH US…

You must be 18 years old of age or older

Your logbook must be on point, meaning all jumping info correctly filled in with all jumps signed and stamped. Digital logbooks are fine also, such as ProTrack for example.

All international skydivers must hold an active USPA membership or the equivalent in your home country.

You must have a minimum of 200 jumps logged in or the equivalent to a USPA C-License.

We skydive over the ocean and land on a beach. All day, everyday. Water training certification is a must.

Planning to bring your own skydiving rig? Sure, not a problem. Please help make sure your reserve parachute is repacked within a 180-Day as per FAA requirements, reserve log card filled in properly and signed by the rigger. Point number 6 is a very strict one.

AAD’s are a must. Make sure there are no service messages on it!

You have no rig, no problem! You can rent one of ours. We have numerous rigs varying from 150, 170, 190 to student sizes from 210, 230 and 250!

You have less that 200 jumps? Or reaching that number soon? No worries, sometimes we are open to exceptions if you do a Coach jump with one of our instructors and if the weather conditions are on our side to open the slot for you. Send us an email if that’s your case, at: skydivemexplaya@gmail.com

You’re currently holding an A-License? Congratulations, you’re a skydiver and very soon you will be able to fly with us. Keep jumping, come on, it’s a beautiful sport. Landing on a palm tree, or getting dragged out of the ocean by a jet ski is not part of our services yet, hence why we require all of the above.

ABOUT OUR SKYDIVING OPERATIONS

Skydivemex offers a wide range of skydiving products and a unique tandem skydive experience from 10,000 up to 13,000 feet above Playa del Carmen or Cozumel, specially for those jumping for the first time! The best fun packed Dropzone in Playa del Carmen and the only one in Cozumel, flying simultaneously. There is no other skydiving operation like Skydivemex in the Mayan Riviera.

PLAYA DEL CARMEN

Our plane, an incredible AirVan GA8, takes off from Playa del Carmen's airport and drops skydivers right above the landing area, the Caribbean sand. Beach landings all day, everyday. After safely landing at the beach, we will drive you back to the Airport, with a smile bigger than the one you had when you arrived. Only fun people go skydiving!

COZUMEL

Skydivemex Cozumel Dropzone has its own green grass landing area, right in the heart of the Aerodrome Capitan Eduardo Toledo, where our turbo charged Airplane takes off and lands after your jump.

A stunning scenic flight right above Isla de la Pasión and El Cielo beach, two of the most beautiful beaches of Cozumel, arguably the best beaches of the Mayan Riviera.

This new Dropzone was open is located 10 minutes away from Cozumel’s ferry crossing to Playa del Carmen.

OUR TURBO-CHARGED AIRPLANE

We proudly fly an Australian made Aircraft made by Gipps Aero. Formally known as GA8 Airvan, the now named Mahindra Airvan GA8 is turbocharged, it can comfortably seat up to 8 people including the Pilot and fly up to altitude in approximately 15 minutes.

The Mahindra Airvan has been designed for passenger services, freighting and most importantly, skydiving. It has the perfect air dynamics for a stable, safe and smooth exit out of the aircraft.

With over 40 years of experience in this unique sport, our staff members and riggers guarantee that our top of the line equipment is always in perfect conditions for everyones safe enjoyment of the sport. Your safety is also our safety. We proudly hold a perfect safety record with ZERO tandem accidents and we intend to keep it that way for as long as we exist. Throughout the years, we had the absolute pleasure of sharing the sky with some incredible human beings. Some of them 6 years old, some with disabilities, some aged 89 years young like Salvador did, and some famously known around the world, such as: Cara Delevingne or Suki Waterhouse, Mauricio Ochmann or Alejandra Guzman who jumped twice on the same day, or Real Madrid superstar Marco Asensio to our Formula 1 national hero Checo Perez who brought his entire family along to jump with him.
